GENERAL PROGRAM DETAILS:

The Imaginarium – ages 3 to 4

July – August     Monday – Friday        9 am – 11 am
**Note: The Imaginarium is fully booked for the following days: August 19, 20, 21 & 23. Please call the office at 631.749.0626 for wait-list options.**
$40 per day      $200 per week
9 children per day maximum enrollment
24 hour advance registration required

Young Farmers Program – ages 5 to 10

Select Weeks     Mon- Thurs 9 to noon, Friday 9 to 1 pm

$300 per week
must register the Friday before the program week

Farm Science Program – ages 7 to 12

Select Weeks    Mon- Thurs 9 to noon, Friday 9 to 1 pm

• July 8th-12th: Archeology week at Sylvester Manor. Open to Ages 5-12.
• August 12th-16th: Arts week at Sylvester Manor. Open to Ages 5-12

About the Youth Programs at Sylvester Manor:

Welcome to the Summer Youth Programs at Sylvester Manor Educational Farm! We know summer is a busy time for everyone on the island and in the farming world it is especially exciting and productive!

In the summer we harvest a lot of delicious summer vegetables and plant even more fall and winter vegetables so that the farmers and members of the Shelter Island community can have fresh vegetables for the fall and winter months to come. And we want you to come help us! These programs are all about learning how to grow your own food and cook it, as well as how to really enjoy all of life on a farm with lots of fun music, beautiful art, chickens, pigs, goats and tasty vegetables.

We have been generously granted money from the Shelter Island Education Foundation to grant scholarships for local students hoping to attend our programs this summer. These scholarships are limited to specifically Shelter Island School students and applications are still being accepted!

Payment and Refunds

Full payment is required at the time of registration. Refunds are available (less a 15% processing fee) for registration cancellations up to 30 days before the first day of your scheduled program session. For cancellation with less than 30 days’ notice, no refund or credit will be provided.
